May 21 Chapter Meeting and Luncheon on Drone Safety Inspections

  •  May 21, 2019
     12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

On Tuesday, May 21st, our South Plains Chapter will be hosting a luncheon with our special guest speakers from FIZ UAS. This presentation was originally scheduled for our April meeting, but has been rescheduled for the May meeting due to increased interest in the topic.

The topic will be Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS): Electrical Industry Industrial Inspections.

Although the presentation will focus on the use of drones when conducting electrical inspections, FIZUAS has a variety of applications in drone use in safety inspections, and pilot training. Everyone is invited to come and visit with FIZUAS about the potential of utilizing the unmanned aircraft systems to enhance your safety programs.

We will be meeting at the 50 Yard Line Steakhouse in Lubbock starting at 11:30 a.m. and order lunch.  At noon we will begin our meeting, and finish about 1:00 p.m. There is no charge to attend our meeting. Lunch is on your own.

Hope you will be able to make it to this meeting.
